We are a small and dynamic studio; always experimenting and developing. We’re excited to show you what we’re creating. We hope this Journal will give you a window into our world; that you’ll find some interesting new ways to use our tile, and that you’ll enjoy this space.

We recently completed a special tile project you may be interested in. Laguna Clay Company has had an Endangered Species Awareness Series for the past 14 years. This year we felt honored to be asked to design and produce this year’s limited edition of 500 tiles. We chose the Eastern Puma, now the most endangered mammal in the United States. In researching the Eastern Puma we found the website for the Wildlife Rehabilitation Sanctuary in Ellijay, GA. This is a photo of our Eastern Puma tiles as we unloaded the first group from the kiln. Each tile is 6 x 6 inches.

Here is our newest Focal Point Concept, an earthy combination of decos in a warm grouping of Metallica & Patina glazes…

This Focal Point Concept shows our 3″ Insets in a mix of patterns from the Fascination and Botanica designs. The colors are earthy with a subtle shimmer: Chai-Patina, Silver Ginger-Metallica & Mocha Java-Metallica framed with our Pencil: PPV-6 in Cobrizo.
This Concept is approximately 13″ x 13″, and can be ordered as loose tile, or mounted on plywood with or without grout.
